We Are The Old Ones

We Are The Old Ones is a work in progress created in collaboration with the senior community the artist has spent the past two years working with. Rooted in participatory photography, the project focuses on everyday life—the routines, objects, spaces, and familiar faces that shape each day. The photographs in this book were taken by the artist and four seniors—Annie (67), Marvin (83), Lily (67), and Beatriz (73)—with the intention of creating a community-led art project that centers the voices of senior citizens.
